Testosterone and YOU

Have you known that everything that is happening inside your body is controlled by a tiny fellow underneath your system called “brain”? Exactly!

The human brain seems to be so little but, surprisingly, it controls everything in it. Even the production of your hormones is controlled by the brain. Testosterone is one with them. So what are these testosterones that are also called as the king hormone? Let me show you.

Testosterone is a hormone that is produced by the human reproductive system. It is under the group of androgens which are the prime influencer of the human growth and development due to its ability to enhance and facilitate muscle and bones growth and formation. At the same time, it hugely affects a person’s strength and vitality. So let’s take testosterone on a closer glimpse.

Hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which are located in the brain, are the ones responsible in transmitting signal to facilitate the production of the said hormones. These are parts of the brain that are interconnected and interdependent with each other.

The hypothalamus are the ones responsible for secreting a hormone known as GRH or gonadotrophin releasing hormone which stimulates the pituitary gland to produce another hormone known as follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH).

The two hormones travel in the blood stream until it reach the reproductive organs and activates them into producing the king hormone, testosterone. Isn’t that amazing? Well, here’s more!

When testosterone is secreted in the reproductive system, it then circulates in the blood stream through a carrier hormone known as the sex hormone binding globulin. But in this case, testosterone is considered inactive unless they are freed for SHGB.

This is the only time they can penetrate the cells and take its anabolic and androgenic effect. However, these amazing processes are altered as humans grow older. As a person age, hormonal imbalances occur creating deficiencies in the human system which are quite natural in every person’s growing health.

However, as there is advancement in science and technology and with further research, these deficiencies are aided with hormonal boosters such as testosterone boosters that are proven as indeed helpful in maintaining health and fitness in human health.

But of course, like any other, one has to take risks because there are manufacturers claiming to be the best hormonal boosters which are only good for their words but are showing no effect at all. The question here can lie on a “which is which” scene.

Protecting one’s health through taking a glimpse of your state of hormonal movement and activities are great indicators of how well you are taking care of your overall system. Health and fitness should always be intact and upfront in each one because this is our ultimate weapon in feeling young and feeling good all the time.

Make sure to know the details of your system and do the best to enhance your state of health every now and then. Taking care of the hormones is taking care of yourself as well. But, always remember to know the safest and the least risky in line.
